Kjul Beach

This large, wide sandy beach is very popular, and it is possible to drive right down to the beach by car. In the summer there may well be 3 rows of cars.

The water is usually quite calm and shallow, so there are often people with stand up paddles. In the summer, an ice cream truck occasionally drives on the beach itself, and in addition there is an ice cream kiosk, just before the descent to the beach, with delicious home-made ice cream. There are also public toilets here.

 From the beach you can see all the way to Hirtshals, and to the left of the descent are a few bunkers on the edge of the beach.
