Line Drawings - Pencil Portraits and Croquis

​Since childhood I have been fascinated by drawing pencil portraits, and have taken it up a few times since. A pencil is a wonderful tool, where you can combine the different hardnesses and thereby create great depth and use your fingers to spread it when working with great softness.

While I was studying, I also often used pencils for Croquis drawing - both at the School of Architecture and at Aarhus Art Academy, where I also combined it with marker. I think the human body is incredibly fascinating and beautiful - and there must be some round shapes.
